Waterproof Labels
Our waterproof labels have a unique composition that resembles paper but possesses the durability of plastic film. This microporous material is absorbent, water-resistant, flexible, and strong, making it highly printable and long-lasting. The uncoated sheet’s porosity allows for excellent ink adhesion to the substrate, resulting in a robust bond. Although the labels should not be immersed in water for more than two hours after application, they come in various sizes, including 1/3 A4, A4, A5, A6, A7, and A3, with custom sizes available during the quoting process.

Description
The waterproof material is chemical and abrasion-resistant, steam sterilizable, and conforms well, making it a long-lasting alternative to paper labels. Additionally, the marine-grade UV acrylic adhesive, when combined with this face material, is approved to meet BS5609 Part 2 standards for labeling chemicals for sea/air transport. This combination is ideal for labeling tight-radius objects due to the face’s conformability and adhesive strength.
The adhesive meets several regulations, including FDA 21 CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact, EN71-3 for Toy Safety, CONEG, The Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations 2015, and EU Regulation 94/62/EC for Packaging and Packaging Waste.
